Interesting read, I did not know they stocked Lake Trout in Lake Erie:

Government agencies stock the lake every spring with a couple hundred thousand year-old lake trout.

"Lake trout abundance, in general, has been pretty high overall in recent years, especially our adult spawning stock," said Jim Markham, an aquatic biologist with the state Department of Environmental Conservation. "We have still yet to really see any enumerable numbers of wild recruitment."
