Hi!
Never before fishing on Lake Erie and now want to try go out this weekend for perch.
Any suggestions ?
I'm coming from Oakville, have a boat ( 14 " 9.9 motor)
Where can I launch my boat ,what depth is the best for perch, what kind of bite (night crawlers,jig,spinner,etc...)?
What wind directions and km/h is good to go in to Lake Erie?
Thanks.

Boat is a little small for main lake Erie unless winds are light under 10k. We launch out of Port Burwell and have been doing well. You can try Long Point Bay safer in the harbour and still lots of perch and better for smaller boats.

Also can try Rondeau bay or Detroit River , Lake St Clair with a smaller boat. All have lots of big perch

Got sick of skunks in the river so headed to longpoint on the weekend. Did good perch fishing by the buoy straight out from the park.
