Port Burwell
« on: May 08, 2019, 08:46:06 AM »
Hi there, New to forum. Finally got my boat in the water and was looking at possibly heading out of Port Burwell for some walleye or perch fishing with the kids this coming week-end. Is the fishing good around this time of year?

Not much happening out of Port Burwell this time of year, later in June and July the walleye fishing will be good. Right now you can get jumbo perch and the odd steelhead. Try Longpoint Bay or Turkey Point, the water is warmer there and the perch fishing is better now.

Thank you DoubleD. We went out of Crystal Beach and also did well. The walleye are now in heavy on this side of the lake

Thanks for the reports, we are headed there this weekend. Wish us luck, but by the sounds of it. Not needed. Just find the boat pack and fish on!
