Has anyone seen the ice conditions out of St. Williams? We were hoping to head out on Monday, but heard the lake was breaking up after those winds earlier in the week. Later, I hear Jimmy Riggin's huts are booked solid this weekend. Now I'm torn between walking out or bringing the ATV down.

I'm getting mixed reports after the crazy weather this week, but I'm hoping for confirmation of thickness before making the trek down there with the ATV Monday morning. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Went out at St.Williams today. Slow day of fishing with very cloudy waters. Still 8-10" of ice out there but there's open water areas as well. Bayside huts were closed and after talking to Woodwards, they might be pulling their huts as well. With warm weather, rain, and high winds predicted for next week, I don't think the ice will be safe for long.

Thank-you for the detailed report. I am thinking of heading out that way this week
