Title: Bass fishing the Grand River?
Post by: rivercats on June 11, 2018, 09:27:58 AM
Who's heading out? I can't wait until bass opener to fish for grand river smallies. What is everyone's favorite lure? I like Top water.

By far streamer flies, muddler minnow. Smallies are a blast on the fly rod.

I know where I am headed. I have a stretch that is full of smallies. Best lure by far is a jerk bait. Throw it out twitch twitch and smash. :D

Thanks I generally dont use live bait. I like lures. I finally got out and did about the same as you. Lots of small bass but no biggies. Where are the big ones?
