Anyone getting channel cats yet? How's the bite in Dunnville and fishmasters?

We caught some last week, cut bait worked best and get there early if you want the prime spots.

Seen quite a few caught off the pier in Port Burwell over the weekend. Kids were having a blast Next few weeks should be good!!!!!!

Anyone still hitting cats out there? Headed to Grand this weekend and will try for channel cats. Will post results.

I float fish for them all summer long downstream from caledonia to dunnville, its a blast, lots of surprises too, wallys, bass, mooneyes, drum, carp, suckers, but for the most part channels, not the giants you get below dunnville in the spring, but a lot of fun, fish average about 3 lbs, 5 lbr is on the large size, but my pb for the upper river is close to 10, so theres some good sized residents 

Try a whole worm wacky rig it on a small hook and drift it down the deep pools you will catch everything carp bass walleye and catfish. GL
