Title: Crappie in the Grand River?

Anyone have any success with crappie on the grand? i have been trying a few spots but not getting any. Are there crappie in this river?

There are crappie in the grand. The lower river mostly. Check back bays or small tribs under bridges bullrushes and fallen timber. Once you find them you will be on the motherload.  :thumbup:

Lots of action on the lower grand right now. Even the walleye and pike are biting. Get out there!

Just started fishing the grand, didn't know there were crappie. I will be trying for walleye this weekend. What is everyone using??

Worms on a harness never go wrong. I will be out this weekend too. Hope the fish are biting. Let us know how you do.

Crappie fishing is done for this year at least in the areas I fish. They disperse into the river and disappear, until next spring.

x2 did not get any crappie and checked all my local spots. Way too hot too fast! Water temps skyrocketing daily.
