Title: Lake Belwood Ice?

Anyone have an update on Belwood, Shades Mill, Valens, anything?

Last post by Grand River Conservation, says still closed

Just checked. Yes the park fishing is still closed. Maybe this weekend. Heard people were fishing the north end already.

Do you know how to access on the north end? Always went in at the park.

Belwood is now open.  Saw on the news today that Shades will be closed all winter due to potential impacts from the jet fuel spill on the 401 earlier this week.

I am going to check out Belwood this weekend. Rivercats, I am not sure where they get on at the north end, I think it's at the bridge, can't remember the road. That sucks about Shades Mills! scratch that off the list.

Let me know how you do on Belwood, I am on LSC this weekend, but having trouble finding any keepers.

Havent been this year. But very hit and miss. Fishing for pike perch and walleye

It was slow got some perch and nothing else. Better than a skunk. One guy iced a nice pike. I will be back.
