Well better than me trying to get on Lake Erie. All ramps are still closed. Any one have an idea when they will be opening. Not that today is a good day for fishing.

Ramps on US side open but you cant get across the border. OPP were telling US boats to leave as they were fishing Canadian waters. Shore fishing i havent bothered too many guys there for my liking. Whitebass are also in and people crowding

White Bass are running right now, but I also heard the people are crowding as well, so maybe try the less popular spots. Good Luck!

Yes White Bass are in, but actually not that thick yet. Everything is late this year.

I tried for whitebass and word on the street is they didnt come in numbers at all this year. There were sporadic schools here and there but not the steady action of previous years. The spots where they were catching them good were too crowded for my taste. it was nuts, soon as a couple guys caught some, the shore hordes moved in. it's like they were watching with binoculars or something.

It depends on the spots you choose to fish, but generally there is a steady current and weights used 1/2 to 3/4 oz. Baits, we use swimbaits, plastic worms and bondy baits. Cast upstream and let drift, ticking bottom, with a few jerks. Good Luck
