Right on. Can't wait. I will post vids once I start seeing some ice forming. Right now a few guys getting gills in the marinas and canals, but that's it.

I heard the canals have about 2 inches in some places and with the cold temps coming overnight it should be freezing up good!!

I drove around and checked a few spots, Yes some ice is canals, but sketchy. Spudded a hole while standing on a dock and wet a line. Caught 1 dink perch. LOL. Ice fishing has begun! Todays rain will not help, but later in week will stiffen up

Here you go, a good ice report from yesterday

Yes this year it's looking like a wash out this way! Another no ice season. hate driving to Simcoe for ice and they don't have much this year either. Maybe head north into Michigan??

Its true looks like another season with no ice. Lots of guys i know headed to Simcoe. They have ice in places and the jumbos there is worth the drive. Its cold this week the marinas and canals will be fishable again just stay away from creeks and runoffs.

I think with the temps coming up we will get at least some walkable ice - hopefully.

My trip to Simcoe is Jan 25th for the weekend with 4 of my buddies - sounds like good reports coming out of cooks bay so far!!
