Detroit River: Yellow perch have been caught around the islands and down at the mouth. A small number were just starting to move into the canals and marinas. A few walleye were caught at the south end of Grosse Ile and north of Calf Island when using a jig and minnow. Some bluegills were caught on wax worms in the marinas.

Detroit River: Walleye anglers were jigging minnows and plastics around the islands. Yellow perch are just starting to move into the cuts and canals.
Lake St. Clair: The ramps are starting to come out however there was still at least one dock in at all the launches at this time. Water temperatures were in the upper 40’s. Muskie fishing will only get better as the water cools down. Target the areas where the rivers are flowing into the lake and where the gizzard shad concentrate. Anglers were trying to get out for yellow perch on the south end of the lake however rain and strong winds have made for tough conditions. Bluegill, pumpkinseed and crappie fishing in the canals and marinas was very good.
St. Clair River: Shore anglers casting off the wall in Port Huron caught walleye after dark. A few salmon were caught in the early morning or evening.

Detroit River: The yellow perch bite continues to improve as more fish move up into the river. Those fishing the cuts and canals are taking fish on minnows.
Lake St. Clair: The walleye, perch and other panfish bite has increased. Anglers have started jigging for walleye with the cooler temperatures. Most were using a blue jig and plastics tipped with a minnow. Panfish are in the local canals and marinas.

Detroit River: Those braving the elements continue to catch a few walleye when jigging minnows or plastics in shallower water. Perch can still be found in the cuts and canals though anglers are sorting through the small ones.
Lake St. Clair: Has been on the quiet side. Muskie anglers have done well when trolling or casting. A few launch ramps still had a dock or two in however they will be coming out very soon.
St. Clair River: Had good handlining and jigging reports for walleye in the upper river. Most fish were caught near the Bluewater Bridge at Port Huron. Both the middle and the lower sections had very clear water and not a lot of action.

Lake St. Clair: Muskie anglers are catching some big fish when they can get out. A few docks were still in at the boat launches. Bluegill and perch were caught in the canals and marinas.
St. Clair River: Those handlining and jigging were still getting some walleye especially in the upper river near the Bluewater Bridge. Blue ice was a hot color.
