Detroit River: Continues to produce yellow perch but not in big numbers. Fish have been caught around the islands and at the mouth of the river in 14 to 17 feet. A few walleye can still be found down at the mouth.

Detroit River: A few perch have been caught around Sugar Island but the fish were a little smaller than those caught in Lake Erie. Most are using perch rigs with shiners. A couple walleye were caught on jigs and rapalas around Calf Island or between Celeron Island and Grosse Ile.
Lake St. Clair: Cooler temperatures had the bass closer to shore and those fishing less than a mile and a half off the Metro Park did well for smallmouth. Walleye were caught by those jigging plastic worms near the mouth of the river channels. Pike anglers did well around Grassy Island when trolling artificial lures. For muskie, fish were caught off the Metro Park and the Clinton River when casting and trolling artificial baits or when using drop-shot.

Detroit River: Some walleye were caught by those jigging near Calf Island. A few perch were taken near Sugar Island however most were very small.
Lake St. Clair: Large and smallmouth bass were a bit sluggish. Anchor Bay was producing most of the fish, but anglers were working hard for them. Try the deeper sections a few miles north of the Harley Launch and Bouvier Bay. The lake was calmer so light colored baits worked best. Yellow perch numbers were good however anglers had to sort through a lot of small ones. Most were fishing the Dumping Grounds and along the Mile Roads. Walleye were slow with only a couple caught in the channels.

Lake St. Clair: Perch anglers are beginning to catch some fish around Metro Beach Park and just north of the Clinton River cutoff ramp when fishing close to the shoreline. Bass fishing was tough.
St. Clair River: Muskie fishing slowed but anglers were getting some walleye near the mouth when jigging plastic worms. Bass fishing was better in the river.
