Not true, still ice in the marinas and people fishing..

What marinas are you talking about - that video didnt seem to have any plus it was the day before my post?? lol

I live in this area....I just fished erieau marina in open water this past weekend, st clair isn't far from there I doubt there's much good ice to risk finding a few panfish and I've also heard no local people saying theyre out fishing - maybe off the docks through what's left of the ice? lol

But hey, what do I know lol go for it!

You are right they made a hole in the marina ice and fished from the dock.

Thanks for the bad news, no ice on LSC :(

Anyone know if there is any fishable ice on the Canadian side? Sounds like we wont get on the main lake unit Feb. Thanks polar vortex

The polar vortex doesnt make it warmer lol it only makes it colder, from what I've read.

But anywho - there's no ice anywhere. It's all open from what I've seen but I could be wrong.

Get your canoe/tinny out and fish the thames for walleye maybe or the cuts for panfish lol or head north!! sounds like KW area (puslinch, guelph lake etc.) has enough ice to walk on.

8 to 10" out of Mitchell's Bay, walking good, very little slow. Fishing ok, lots of perch.
