Fowlers Pond
« on: September 15, 2018, 09:32:51 AM »
Just a thought. We ventured out to this little piece of paradise a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. However, the skids laid down to get to the pond and makeshift dock could use some work. Would anyone be interested in joining me in working on a clean up project?

It is a small pond just outside of Woodstock. I don't know if you can still fish there. Is it not private property?

Didn't see any No Trespassing or Private Property Signs. There is a well beatin path going down to the pond and skids placed as a makeshift dock. If it is private property, I would certainly respect that. Any other info would be appreciated.

If there are no signs it is probably fine. I was asking some guys about it and they told me you can't fish there, but didn't check for myself. What kind of fish are in that pond?

Do you know who owns the property? Grand River Conservation? Maybe they can help clean it up.

We were catching large panfish.  I hear that there are pike and bass in there as well.
